The 1st Asia International Chefs Day - Nantou, Taiwan

Taiwan became the heart of Asia’s culinary community as chefs from across the continent gathered to celebrate International Chefs Day 2025. More than a professional gathering, the event honored a timeless mission shared by chefs worldwide: to nourish lives and strengthen communities through food.

Among the participating nations, ACP Indonesia proudly took part in this meaningful celebration, representing Indonesia on the international stage. Indonesian chefs prepared and served Rendang, Indonesia’s national dish, alongside the comforting flavors of Soto Ayam. These iconic dishes introduced the warmth, richness, and diversity of Indonesian cuisine to the wider Asian culinary community.

The chefs collectively cooked and served hundreds of differently abled individuals—not only with carefully prepared meals, but with genuine care and compassion. Each plate carried a message beyond taste: respect, inclusion, and love. In these shared moments, food became a bridge that connected cultures and hearts.

International Chefs Day 2025 in Taiwan reaffirmed the noble calling of the culinary profession. As chefs, the responsibility goes beyond cooking—it is about feeding both body and soul, and using food as a universal language to uplift communities and create meaningful impact.
